Membership Policies
Bangladesh Forum Qatar (BFQ) follows a clear and structured membership policy to ensure professionalism, credibility, and long-term value for its members. Membership is offered to individuals and organizations that share the Forum’s mission of strengthening economic, professional, and social ties between Bangladesh and Qatar.

BFQ operates as a non-profit, non-political, and professional platform. Membership is selective and subject to approval to maintain the integrity, reputation, and objectives of the Forum.

Policy Framework

• All membership applications are reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee
• Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance
• The Executive Committee reserves the right to accept or reject applications without providing justification
• Membership privileges, voting rights, and committee eligibility depend on membership category

Eligibility & Restrictions

• Individuals holding leadership positions in registered or unregistered political organizations are not eligible for membership
• Members holding leadership roles in competing forums are not eligible to run for Executive Committee positions
• All members must comply with the laws of the State of Qatar and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

Membership Fees
Except for Honorary Members, all categories require payment of an annual, non-refundable membership fee, as determined by the Executive Committee. Membership becomes invalid if fees are not settled within the prescribed period.

Termination of Membership
Membership may be suspended or terminated if a member:

• Violates local or international laws
• Acts against the objectives or reputation of BFQ
• Fails to comply with membership obligations

All disciplinary matters are handled by the Executive Committee in accordance with the Constitution.
